*Emerges from cave* I've been away, and hovering a bit, and I'm sorry. Various forms of busyness have kept me away from the forum and I feel bad now. Sorry. Still, I'm here, and wanting to avoid a hovering death ray (though I personally believe an orbital one would be more practical, a death ray is a deathray, nonetheless) and I like the idea of a large, boardwide topic. Sign me up! *Hastily constructs anti-hovering-deathray shield, just in case*

Yay!
The best board-wide topic that I've conceived failed miserably on its previous attempt when most of the participants went inactive. But I've really wanted to play it for awhile, so I'll put it forth for your consideration.
Basic plot: Imlandris' prince is captured overseas, and in need of rescue. There are two groups of RP-ers, one is the rescue team heading South from Caelin Tal, and the other is already in the foreign country attempting to help the prince. Nathan would lead the group from Caelin Tal, and Ričle would likely guide them partway. Characters could potentially join the party once they get to Haven, instead of leaving with them from Caelin Tal. In the foreign country, Gav would have survived and is attempting to rescue the prince. I had in mind that he would meet Arthur, but if another character can fill that role it would be fine. Other characters can join here as well.
This RP would take place over the course of weeks to months, and so RPers would, to some extent, need to allow for gaps in time when their characters are traveling, and need to not get the rest of the story stuck in back-and-forth interaction subplots (I'm not trying to discourage these from happening, I just mean that the story really needs to move because it's very long in concept, and we can't afford to get stuck).
I can ponder some other ideas as well if you guys want something of a broader scale, but this one has the advantage of already existing in my brain. I even have the intro post done from the previous try.

I shall have to remain mostly idle and hovering School is trying to beat me to a pulp. Though it does sound like an interesting plot that I'll definitely think about joining later on. As it stands, we still have Distant Battles that has a lot of members in it who haven't posted... >_>

I'd be up for that. I have a feeling Nathyn would be perfect for the role as one of the party's spellcaster/comic relief characters.
